Young Learners’ Festival – with Macmillan Education
3-day event: 4th / 6th / 8th November 2024
starting at 12:00, 16:00pm & 23:30pm (EET)
The world inside a child’s head truly is a magical one, and the best part is that it’s totally unique for each child. They all have their own dreams, ideas, experiences and abilities, which, to say the least, offers a certain level of challenge for their brave, creative and patient teacher!
The Young Learners’ Festival will shine a spotlight on various development opportunities for teachers of young learners like individuality, personalisation, respect, imagination and academic progress.

Teachers who understand working memory become better teachers, and students who understand how they learn, and perform better.
This research-based webinar explores the world of cognitive neuroscience and offers a beginners’ guide for teachers. Ross will share 3 recommendations all teachers should use in every lesson!
‘Learning is a process that leads to change’, and teachers must assess what is stored in students’ long-term memory, providing explicit instruction and rehearsal to maximise memory potential. This training provides teachers with initial theory, practical study tools, and how to take action.
Being Curious about Cultures through Project Work – Speakers: Sea Steele and Sarah Smith
Every child is inherently curious about the world around them. Curiosity is the recognition of something unknown that we want to know, the desire to explore, and the pleasure of learning something new. In our session, we’ll explore how to engage our students’ curiosity to learn about diverse cultures through engaging and creative project work.
