Educating Adults Day, on Wednesday 4th December, celebrates and explores the leaps and bounds that education has made in recent years. The dawn of AI, the impact of Covid-19 and implications this has had on pedagogy and the format we learn with is monumental.
This special event for teachers of adults will look at this evolution through 3 distinct lenses. First, through the lens of teaching and learning online, next through AI and how it can be harnessed to personalise instruction and finally, how the availability of the vast amount of available text can be exploited to its fullest to enhance the adult learning experience.

She teaches students of all ages and levels and has a wide range of experience with exam preparation and Business English. Miranda Hamilton is a Teacher Trainer and Instructional Designer with 17 years of experience in ELT. She has taught learners of all ages and levels, and trained and supported teachers across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the MENA region. Since the pandemic, she has mainly worked online and values the opportunities that digital learning have brought to ELT. She holds CELTA, CELTYL, and DELTA qualifications, as well as a Diploma in Digital Learning Design.
