Advanced Communication Skills: A gift for life, yet a problematic area in many fields
Date and time: 01.11.2021 – 10:00 A.M. EET
Communication is everywhere, at home, at work, at school, at the supermarket… Are we effective communicators? What are the most common mistakes that affect our communication skills? How can we get our message across with clarity, so as to avoid misunderstandings?
Join Nadia Theochari, an ELT consultant for MM Publications, for answers to these questions.
Stories from around the world!
Date and time: 08.11.2021 – 07:00 P.M. EET
Stories help us to breakdown the classroom walls, allowing students to experience different cultures and contexts and discover worlds in which devils build bridges, monkeys can talk, and pots learn lessons. In this session, you can sit back and enjoy these stories or similar ones, before looking at how you can use stories in the classroom to help develop your students’ listening, speaking and critical thinking skills.

Let’s talk about assessment and grading!
Date and time: 15.11.2021 – 10:00 A.M. EET or 07:00 P.M. EET
A good grade can bring smiles and show accomplishment. A bad grade does not! Grades are important since they indicate the quality of a student’s performance.
Join Chris Vasileiou, an ELT consultant for MM Publications, and together you will learn what you should check and rate when delivering the number or letter that symbolically measures your assessment of a student’s effort.
Effective teamwork begins and ends with communication!
Date and time: 22.11.2021 – 10:00 A.M. EET or 07:00 P.M. EET
Teamwork isn’t all about communication, or is it? Teamwork involves a wide range of skills, designed for improving your students’ performance in school. Its aim is to bring out the best in your class. Thus, ensuring self-development, positive communication and collaboration, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely together as a team, in order to solve problems.
Join Gregg Sotiropoulos, an ELT consultant for MM Publications, and together you will examine just how teamwork achieves this, while keeping in mind the key element of communication.
